He stated this during his maiden working visit to formations under his command in the state.

The Commandant visited over 20 divisional offices in the strategic initiative rooted in the necessity to gain firsthand insights into operational activities, assess personnel performance, and ensure the effective execution of the corps’ statutory functions.

He disclosed plans to extend his visits to all area commands and divisional offices in the state and commended officers and men across divisions for their unwavering dedication to safeguarding lives, properties, critical national assets, and infrastructure.

He urged the personnel of the Corps to work hand in glove with other security agencies, local communities, farmers, and herders to foster peaceful coexistence and prevent potential conflicts.

Commandant Umar expressed gratitude to the traditional rulers and other relevant stakeholders in the visited communities, thanking them for their long-lasting support and for creating an enabling environment for the Corps to thrive.
