The debut single from Bukola, whose roots are from Lagos, western Nigeria couldn’t come at a better time. ‘Iyanu’ meaning miracle is a Yoruba language in Sub Saharan Africa that reminds us of God’s Miracles and grace which exceeds all and His proves to us time and again that He will heal our pain and grant multiple recoveries from our losses.

From an epic early primary school days audition in Lagos, to active church choirs and worship teams, the Almighty has indeed led her to His place of Fountain.

Written and composed by Bukola herself, this debut song is coming from a place of pain and recovery. Grateful for an amazing life turn-around, she has dedicated this song to all those who have gone through innumerable life challenges and have been pushed beyond the threshold of their faith.

Watching people for years fall under the anointing of God, having felt His abounding presence and being motivated by a rock solid mum who has stood by me and encouraged me to sing before her friends in Church and just anywhere possible as I grew into a young lady have all kept the burning zeal and insatiable urge from within to fulfill a calling despite 20 years of successful and accomplished career in the media sector of Journalism, management and director.

Prior to her difficult but passionate decision to delve into the music industry, she has worked in media organizations including Radio and television and has received numerous awards, scholarships, commendations and many more in her commitment to boost corporate values.

Not with human abilities but the Divine Miracle and strength from God, Iyanu is meant to be the first of more inspirational and soul-lifting songs gracing the shores of Europe from a middle-aged female Nigerian artist. God has a plan. Trust it, live it, enjoy it
