Chelsea are braced for the departure of manager Antonio Conte this summer and have already reached an agreement with Luis Enrique to replace him, according to reports.
The Italian is under mounting pressure due to Chelsea’s poor form since the turn of the year, with the soon-to-be-dethroned champions currently five points adrift of the Champions League places.
Conte has confused players with his recent team selections and tactics, while he has been at loggerheads with the club’s board since the summer.
And now El Confidencial reports that Conte’s uneasy relationship with Chelsea is set to come to an end at the end of the season – though it remains to be seen if he will walk or be fired.
The Spanish publication claim there is already an agreement in place between Chelsea and former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique to take charge from the start of the 2018-19 campaign.
