Danjuma releases the final squad for the Falcons vs. Tanzania in the U-20 WWCQ.

Falconets head coach Chris Danjuma has unveiled his final squad for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying fixture against Tanzania, GISTS VILLA reports.

Already, 19 out of the 30 players in camp have made the list. Aminat Folorunso and Opeyemi Ajakaye are the biggest names on the list.

Tanzania and Nigeria will clash in the first leg at the Azam Sports Complex in Dar es Salaam on Sunday. The second leg will be held at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja a week later.

The Falconets qualified for the third round after Mauritius withdrew from the race.

Colombia will host the competition, which has been expanded from 16 to 24 teams.


Goalkeepers: Anderline Mgbechi, Shukura Bakare, and Faith Omilana

Defenders: Oluchi Ohaegbulem, Comfort Folorunsho, Rihanat Kasali, Jumoke Alani, Shukurat Oladipo, and Semilore Oladeji

Midfielders: Adoo Tina, Taiwo Afolabi, Shola Shobowale, Aminat Folorunsho, and Chioma Olise

Forwards: Opeyemi Ajakaye, Judith Okah, Chiamaka Okuchukwu, Chisom Chima, and Janet Akekoromowei
