Passengers on the Benue Links bus are kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

Yet to be identified gunmen on Monday reportedly hijacked a Lagos-bound commercial bus belonging to Benue State owned transport company, Benue Links.

It was gathered that the hoodlums abducted some passengers that were being conveyed by the vehicle.

Gists Villa gathered that the incident occurred between Ajaokuta and Okene in Kogi State.

It was also learned that some passengers managed to escape when the gun-wielding hoodlums attacked the vehicle.

Efforts made by Gists Villa to speak to the Acting General Manager of Benue Links in Makurdi on the incident were not successful as several calls made to his mobile telephone were not answered.
