Ten Hag reveals two Manchester United players who won’t be playing until Christmas in the UCL.
Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has said Casemiro will not play again until Christmas at the earliest.
The Brazil midfielder is sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Defender Lisandro Martinez (broken metatarsal) will also not be available for selection until the Yuletide period.
Ten Hag revealed this during a press conference ahead of United’s Champions League Group A clash against FC Copenhagen.
“I expect some [injured players] back, but Casemiro and Martinez have really strong injuries, and I don’t expect them back before Christmas,” Ten Hag said.
“It’s several weeks [for Casemiro].”
