A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Reno Omokri, has lauded President Bola Tinubu for securing the immediate lifting of the visa ban earlier placed on Nigerian travellers.
Gists Villa had reported that Tinubu and President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, met Monday where they agreed to resolve the visa crisis.
A statement by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, noted that by this historic agreement, both Etihad Airlines and Emirates Airlines are to immediately resume flight schedules into and out of Nigeria, without any further delay.
