The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Abbas Tajudeen, has expressed sadness over the death of one person as a result of the flood that affected some parts of Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos State.
The Speaker in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Krishi, also expressed concern that the flood displaced over 2,000 people from their homes.
Gists Villa reports that the flood affected a school, which turned to a residential building with 500 rooms, popularly known as Agboye Estate, Oduntan Street, Ketu, in the Ikosi-Isheri LCDA of Lagos State.
