Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has claimed that he inherited a dilapidated health sector from his predecessor, Umar Abdullahi Ganduje.
According to him, the immediate past administration contributed to the unfortunate prevalence of health-related diseases in Kano.
Speaking during a working visit by the Deputy Minister of Health from Ghana to Kano, Governor Yusuf explained that he discovered the health sector in a state of disrepair, with many hospitals in a state of decay upon assuming office.
