Manchester United, on Saturday, said the club signed Rasmus Højlund from Atalanta because the striker is truly an exceptional talent.
Manchester United Football Director, John Murtough, said this in a statement via the club’s official website.
Højlund joined Manchester United on a five-year contract that would see him remain at Old Trafford until 2028, with the option of a further year.
Reacting, Murtough said as quoted by Man United’s official website: “Rasmus is a truly exceptional talent.
“He possesses technical and physical attributes which rank him amongst the best players in the world for his age group.
“Working under Erik ten Hag and his coaches will provide Rasmus with the perfect development platform.”
Højlund scored 27 goals in 87 club appearances for Atalanta last season
