New Manchester United signing, Rasmus Højlund, has suggested that he joined the Premier League giants because he has been a fan of the Red Devils while growing up as a teenager.
Man United on Saturday announced the signing of Højlund from Atalanta.
The 20-year-old striker signed a long-term contract with Erik ten Hag’s side.
Speaking after joining Man United, Højlund said as quoted by the club’s official website: “It is no secret that I have been a fan of this great club since I was a small boy, and I dreamed of walking out at Old Trafford as a Manchester United player.
“I am incredibly excited by this opportunity to turn that dream into a reality, and I am determined to repay the faith that the club has shown in me.”
