An officer of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) has been affirmed dead while four of his associates supported wounds in a mischance at Showo town along Abeokuta/Sagamu Expressway in Ogun southwest Nigeria.
Illustrative of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi, affirmed the mischance.
As indicated by him, the mischance included a Honda CRV with enrollment number LSD 191 ET and a truck.
He stated: “the truck was attempting to make an illicit U-swing back to Sagamu without sign before the Honda auto slammed into it from the back.
“The Honda CRV had five tenants, all SARS officers, four male and one female however sadly the driver of the Honda CRV kicked the bucket.”
Akinbiyi included that the harmed have been taken to Federal Medical Center, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta for treatment.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who likewise affirmed the mishap, said that the officers were coming back from Sagamu where they had gone for a court continuing when the mischance happened.
