Diego Costa was asked to leave Chelsea this summer due to his irritating reply to Antonio Conte’s congratulatory text message.
The 27-year-old striker earlier this week revealed that he will be leaving Chelsea this summer after being told by Conte that his services will no longer needed at the Stamford Bridge.
The revelation from Costa have speculation from different quarters, as many fans and pundits debate on the reasons for the decision by Antonio Conte.
However, reports in the English Press can confirm that the Blues boss got infuriated by Diego Costa’s reply to his title-wining text message to every member of the squad, wishing them happy holidays and softly reminding them to be in shape for pre-season which Costa took in another direction, reacting with a message that angered Conte who told him that he is free to leave the club.
