Former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Scholes has predicted next month’s Champions League quarter finals match between Liverpool and Manchester City.
Scholes believes that the Reds will have a ‘great chance’ of beating City to reach the Champions League semi-finals, especially if Salah continues his fine form for Liverpool.
Speaking to BT Sport, Scholes said: “He [Salah] has had a great season but I think Liverpool in general have had a good season.
“They’ve got a big Champions League coming up against City and if he can stay in that sort of form they’ll have a great chance of going through.”
Meanwhile, Liverpool were in brilliant form on Saturday night as they bounced back to winning ways in the Premier League with a thumping 5-0 victory over Watford at Anfield.
Winger, Mohamed Salah continued his amazing performances for the Reds as he hit four goals against Watford and set up Roberto Firmino in a dominant victory for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Liverpool FC will return to Premier League action after the international break when they travel to Crystal Palace on 31 March.
The Reds are currently in third place in the Premier League table.
